Wheel Thrown Ceramics (0)

Wheel thrown pieces are made using a potter's wheel, a tool which rotates a body of clay while the artist provides pressure and guidance to form the piece. Pieces made using this technique are typically the most symmetrical and require quite a bit of experience to form the intended work.

The word "thrown" comes from an Old English term thrawan which means "twist".
