The Shapes pieces are made of a black clay body and shaped on a wheel, using a white underglaze to create its distinct patterns. The inside is glazed with a milky whiteglaze, so the texture of the clay is still slightly visible. The outer surface is left natural with a nice, somewhat sandy texture.
